AluWood, our aluminium clad timber windows feature the same hardwoods and highly efficient engineered timbers available with our timber windows, clad externally with aluminium extruded from alloy in accordance with BS EN-755.
Our engineered timber doors are designed to combine high performance with aesthetic appeal. Engineered timbers are made by joining / gluing multiple pieces together, ensuring a strong durable and faultless timber material.
The aluminium can be polyester powder coated to BS 6496 with the full range of RAL or BS colours including brilliant white, chartwell green and anthracite grey.
All our windows are manufactured using thermally efficient glass and materials, by our skilled window and door specialists ensuring a high level of quality throughout the whole manufacture process.
AluWood’s strength means it stays in brilliant condition for years and its slim frames make it the perfect choice for windows that bring more light into any space.
Aluminium is virtually 100% recyclable and does not age in use. As the life expectancy is beyond 50 years, the use of aluminium is seen as a substantial sustainable product.
Timber is also an excellent insulator and does not give off toxic fumes when burnt.
The combination of these two materials offers the best of both low maintenance and visual appeal so it’s not surprising that composite windows are growing in popularity for both commercial and domestic use
Reversible (Top-swing) windows are the best option in terms of both operation and price. Ideal for locations or structures where external cleaning is an issue; the design achieves a 180 degree reversible opening which allows the external pane of glass to be cleaned from the inside. The window is fitted with a multi-step hinge restrictor locking the window in place as it moves through each openable position, which is particularly useful if there are small children in the vicinity.
