A unique component that sets Norscot uPVC windows apart from other uPVC windows is that we reinforce all of them with galvanised steel (specially treated steel designed to resist rusting and corrosion) as standard. This not only increases the strength of the window; it also improves their weather resistance. Being based in the North of Scotland where we experience the harshest of weather, we know this is a necessary step to increase and maintain the lifespan of your uPVC windows. Find out more about this unique form of reinforcement here.
We manufacture uPVC windows, which are reinforced with galvanised steel as standard, in a wide variety of colours including brilliant white and anthracite grey as well as traditional woodgrain effect golden oak and rosewood. Our windows are manufactured using thermally efficient glass and materials, by our skilled window and door specialists ensuring a high level of quality throughout the whole manufacture process.
We provide windows in a large selection of styles, shapes and sizes, allowing our windows to be seamlessly installed into any home.
All joints are professionally welded and, unlike our competitors, all our uPVC windows are fully reinforced with galvanised steel as standard; this not only increases their strength but also their weather resistance and security features.
uPVC is 100% recyclable and may be recycled 10 times and more without significant loss of integrity and structure. Theoretically, therefore, assuming a 35-year installation life for uPVC windows which are then removed and recycled, the uPVC from which the original windows were manufactured would have a useful life of 350 years! Find out more about uPVC recycling here.
Best of all, we provide a 10 year insurance backed guarantee on all of our Norscot installed uPVC products, giving you peace of mind for years to come!
