Timber Windows ← Back to Window Materials

We manufacture timber windows in both selected softwood (also known as redwood) sourced from either Scandinavia or the Baltic States and tropical hardwoods sourced from either Central and South America, West and Central Africa or South East Asia.

All timber is legally sourced from sustainably managed forests, supported by ‘due diligence’ from suppliers or certified timber sources in accordance with EU Timber Regulation: 2013.

Softwood windows are preservative treated using a double vacuum process. Hardwood being more dense than softwood does not require treatment. All windows are factory spray finished with two base coats and one top coat, prior to assembly and glazing.

We use the latest, most environmentally-friendly water-based preservative treatments, paints and stains. Properly maintained, timber windows can offer service life upwards of 60 years.
