uPVC Windows ← Back to Window Materials

uPVC (short for unplasticised PolyVinyl Chloride) windows are manufactured using the internationally renowned VEKA Matrix 70 system in accordance with British Standard BS 7412. VEKA is a German company founded in 1967 but the profiles we use are extruded in Burnley, Lancashire, where VEKA have had a production unit since 1986.

We manufacture uPVC windows in white, coloured and golden oak / rosewood woodgrain effect finishes. All joints are welded and all profiles reinforced with either aluminium or steel to enhance weather performance and security.

uPVC is 100% recyclable and may be recycled 10 times and more without significant loss of integrity and structure. Theoretically, therefore, assuming a 35-year installation life for uPVC windows which are then removed and recycled, the uPVC from which the original windows were manufactured would have a useful life of 350 years!
