AluWood is the dedicated brand name for Norscot’s own aluminium clad timber window and door system. The system design and manufacturing rights were acquired when A M Profiles Ltd of Chesterfield, closed its doors in September 2012.

AM Profiles was the UK’s leader in the design and manufacture of aluminium clad timber window, door and curtain walling systems. And, Norscot had been manufacturing their product range, under licence since 1998.

Since 2012 Norscot has continued to manufacture aluminium clad timber windows and doors for its own use and former A M Profiles’ customers, ensuring continuity of supply. At the same time it has been refining both window and door designs to ensure the products kept pace with market requirements in terms of properties, performance and price.
