Norscot Joinery Limited is a family owned business which was established in 1984 by chartered surveyor Peter Body and his wife Teda, both now retired. These days the company is run by Callum Grant (Managing Director), their son John-Paul (Production Director), Jason Fraser (Technical Director) and their grand-daughter Carrie Body (Finance Director).
The Company’s headquarters are its Bower Workshops in Caithness where it owns some 25,000 square feet of modern factory, offices and showroom.
The factory is equipped with sophisticated computer controlled machinery which, together with the skilled workforce, produces the widest range of building components and related products available from a single source anywhere in Scotland.
Norscot’s product range includes standard and custom design timber frame kit homes; made-to-measure windows and doors in engineered pine, hardwood, either white, golden oak or rosewood woodgrain effect and a range of coloured uPVC and aluminium clad timber. Our uPVC windows also carry the BM Trada Q-Mark third party accreditation.
To promote and distribute our products outwith Caithness, we own a purpose built showroom, sales office and storage facility on the Carse Industrial Estate in Inverness.
Our customer base comes from the domestic, retail, trade and public market sectors across the UK.
We currently employ over 50 staff and generate an annual turnover in excess of £4 million. Our quality assurance scheme is accredited to the internationally recognised ISO 9001 standard.
Over the years Norscot has built up a strong capital base and now has the financial resources to provide and maintain the highest level of customer service.
